Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH17 War base showcases high compartmentalization with over 15 distinct sections. The weaponized Town Hall occupies the central compartment, flanked by the Monolith. Two Eagle Artilleries sit 5 tiles north-west and north-east from the core. Four Scattershots provide wide splash damage coverage, two positioned centrally and two positioned 5 tiles south-west and south-east from the core. Eight Multi-Target Inferno Towers are strategically placed across multiple compartments. The layout effectively counters Root Rider spam with its dense walls and splash damage. Air attacks like Dragon Rider spam struggle against the eight Air Defenses and numerous X-Bows set to air.
