Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH16 Trophy base employs twenty distinct compartments, creating significant pathing challenges for ground attacks. The centrally located Town Hall 16 receives protection from a nearby Monolith and Poison Spell Tower. An Eagle Artillery dominates the core, providing extensive splash damage coverage. Both Scattershots defend the northern and southern flanks, supported by six Inferno Towers, primarily multi-target. Twelve X-Bows provide a dense layer of point defense. This layout effectively counters Root Rider spam and Electro Dragon attacks through its robust compartmentalization and strong air targeting.
