Why Does This Base Design Work?

A ring base design forms a formidable anti-2-star defense, featuring extensive compartmentalization with six distinct core and inner ring sections. The Town Hall occupies the heavily fortified central compartment, shielded by two Single Target Inferno Towers and two X-Bows. Two Monoliths anchor strong defensive points, one centrally and one in the top-left ring section, providing immense damage. Two Scattershots deliver crucial splash damage from the right side of the inner ring. This layout effectively counters Root Rider spam and Electro Dragon attacks by forcing troops around the perimeter and slowing their advance.
