Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH14 War base showcases intricate compartmentalization with over twelve distinct sections. A centralized Eagle Artillery anchors the defense, positioned 5 tiles from the offset Town Hall. Two powerful Monoliths are strategically placed to target high-health units, one flanking the Town Hall and another in the southeast. Four Scattershots provide broad splash damage coverage across multiple compartments. The layout effectively counters Root Rider spam with extensive walling and strong splash defenses. It also defends against E-Drag spam through dispersed air defenses and multi-target Infernos.
