Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH10 trophy base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A centralized Town Hall defines this TH10 trophy layout. Over 20 compartments force attackers to use multiple wall-breaking methods. The core contains the Town Hall, Clan Castle, two X-Bows, and a multi-target Inferno Tower. Four Air Defenses form a protective square around the central zone. This highly segmented design provides strong defense against ground spam strategies like GoWiPe and Witch Slap. Overlapping splash damage from multi-Infernos and Wizard Towers also deters standard LavaLoon attacks.

💪 Strengths

✓The centralized Clan Castle is difficult to lure and is protected by the Town Hall, two X-Bows, and a multi-target Inferno Tower.
✓This base counters Witch Slap attacks effectively. Two multi-target Inferno Towers burn through skeletons, while two Bomb Towers provide critical ground splash damage in outer compartments.
✓Extensive compartmentalization slows ground troops, and spring traps placed in channels between defenses are designed to eject Hog Riders and Miners.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A skilled Queen Charge from the 6 o'clock position can destroy an Air Defense, the enemy Archer Queen, and the nearby multi-target Inferno Tower, creating value for a LavaLoon follow-up.
✗The Barbarian King and Archer Queen are placed on opposite sides of the base, preventing them from defending a single push together.

🏰 Recommended CC Troops

A Lava Hound, one Headhunter, and filler Archers. The Lava Hound acts as a high-hitpoint tank to stall Queen Charges and air attacks. The Headhunter specifically targets enemy heroes. The Archers provide ranged DPS and distraction for support troops.
