Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH10 trophy base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A centralized Town Hall 10 and Clan Castle anchor this symmetrical trophy design. The layout features approximately 18 distinct compartments to complicate ground troop pathing. Two multi-target Inferno Towers protect the core's flanks against swarm attacks. Four Air Defenses are positioned in a wide square formation to defend against aerial assaults. This base is built to counter ground-based spam armies like Witch Slap and Hog Riders. Centralized X-Bows provide overlapping damage across crucial sections of the base, reinforcing the core's integrity against kill squads.

✓Two multi-target Inferno Towers are placed in separate compartments flanking the core, effectively neutralizing mass troop strategies like Hog Riders and Miners by negating healing spells.
✓The base design specifically counters Witch Slap attacks; numerous compartments slow Golems while five Wizard Towers and two Bomb Towers eliminate skeleton swarms.

✗The proximity of an Air Defense to an Inferno Tower allows an attacker to destroy both using four Lightning Spells and one Earthquake Spell, creating a vulnerability for a LavaLoon follow-up.

🏰 Recommended CC Troops

A Lava Hound and a Balloon are optimal Clan Castle troops. The high-HP Lava Hound stalls air attacks and the enemy Queen, while the Lava Pups and Balloon provide cleanup and distraction upon the Hound's destruction.
