Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH10 trophy base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
This Town Hall 10 trophy base utilizes a symmetrical, heavily compartmentalized design with over 20 sections. The central core protects the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and three X-Bows. Two multi-target Inferno Towers occupy separate mid-layer compartments, providing extensive coverage against swarm troops. Four Air Defenses are positioned in a square formation around the core. The layout's structure creates difficult pathing for ground armies. This design excels at defending against Hog Rider and LavaLoon attacks due to its splash damage distribution and compartment layout.
💪 Strengths
- ✓Three X-Bows and the Clan Castle fortify the central compartment, establishing a formidable high-damage core. The two multi-target Inferno Towers are placed in separate compartments, preventing both from being taken out simultaneously.
- ✓The base effectively counters Hog Rider attacks. Its numerous small compartments disrupt hog pathing, while the multi-target Inferno Towers and two Bomb Towers quickly eliminate large groups of hogs.
- ✓A centralized Clan Castle and a high number of compartments make luring defensive troops difficult. This design slows down ground armies like GoWiPe and forces attackers to invest heavily in Jump Spells or Wall Breakers.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A skillful Queen Charge from the 3 or 9 o'clock positions can create a wide funnel. An attacker can then use a Jump Spell to send Bowlers or Valkyries directly into the compact core, overwhelming the central defenses.
- ✗Air Defenses are accessible from the outer ring of compartments. An attacker performing a Queen Walk could potentially destroy an Air Defense and lure the Clan Castle, creating a vulnerability for a follow-up LavaLoon attack.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, 2 Headhunters. The Lava Hound stalls air attacks and Queen Charges. The Baby Dragon provides splash damage against Balloons and Minions. Headhunters directly target the enemy Queen, a primary threat to this base design.
