Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH10 trophy base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
This TH10 trophy layout utilizes over 15 compartments to isolate defenses. A central core contains the Clan Castle, a Multi-Target Inferno Tower, and two X-Bows set to ground and air. The Town Hall resides in an outer ring, while a Single-Target Inferno Tower defends the northern section. The base design provides strong defense against mass Hog Rider spam and LavaLoon strategies through strategic splash damage overlap and difficult troop pathing. This symmetrical structure forces attackers into predictable, heavily trapped entry points.
💪 Strengths
- ✓The core Multi-Target Inferno Tower and two X-Bows create a high-damage zone against spam attacks like Miners or Hogs. The centralized Clan Castle is extremely difficult to lure, protecting high-value defensive troops.
- ✓LavaLoon attacks are countered by the symmetrical placement of four Air Defenses in separate compartments, supported by air-targeting Skeleton Traps and Wizard Towers that cover the Inferno Towers.
- ✓The base's anti-funnel design uses trash buildings placed 2 tiles away from walls, creating a gap that complicates troop pathing and makes Queen Charges difficult to execute without precise funneling.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A ZapQuake attack using four Lightning Spells and one Earthquake Spell can destroy the core Multi-Target Inferno and a nearby X-Bow, severely weakening the base against subsequent Hog Rider or LavaLoon attacks.
- ✗The northern compartment houses both the Single-Target Inferno Tower and the Town Hall. A Golem-heavy push from 12 o'clock can neutralize the primary anti-tank defense and secure the Town Hall simultaneously.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
A Lava Hound with Headhunters and Archers provides a strong defense. The Lava Hound acts as a high-HP aerial tank to stall Queen Charges, while the emerging Headhunters target enemy heroes directly. Archers assist with cleanup against smaller troops.
