Meteor Golem and Totem received significant damage and HP nerfs. Electro Dragon chain lightning damage increased by 15%. Druid healing per second increased. Super Witch big boy skeleton HP reduced. These changes shift the meta from ground-heavy to more balanced air/ground.
The Meteor Golem nerf reduces both its impact damage (on deployment) and sustained DPS by approximately 20%. Combined with the Totem damage nerf, Meteor Golem + Totem rush strategies are significantly weaker. At TH18, this was the dominant attack strategy throughout late 2025.
Electro Dragon buffs increase chain lightning damage per bounce, making E-Drag spam viable at higher Town Hall levels again. The chain still bounces between buildings within 2 tiles, so spread base designs become more important.
Druid healing buffs strengthen Root Rider + Druid compositions, which were already strong. This combination remains the most consistent 3-star strategy at TH15-TH18.
Increase building spacing to 4+ tiles to counter buffed E-Drags. Maintain anti-Root Rider Spring Trap placement. Reduce priority on anti-Meteor Golem design. Set at least one Inferno Tower to multi-target for Super Witch and Bat Spell attacks.
The most immediate change is increasing building spacing. If your current base has buildings clustered within 2-3 tiles, E-Drag chains will bounce through multiple structures. Spread buildings to 4+ tile gaps — this breaks the chain and forces E-Drags to attack each building individually.
Keep your anti-Root Rider defenses intact. Spring Traps between defenses and single-target Inferno Towers remain critical. Root Rider + Druid is stronger after the Druid buff, not weaker.
Reduce the number of compartments specifically designed for Meteor Golem defense. While Meteor Golem attacks still work, they are less dominant — you can redistribute those wall segments toward anti-funnel design.
TH18 war bases need the most changes due to the Meteor Golem nerf shifting the meta. TH11-TH14 anti-air bases gain importance with E-Drag buffs. TH15-TH17 bases should strengthen Root Rider defenses as Druid healing increases.
At TH18, switch from anti-Meteor Golem focused designs to more balanced layouts. The Guardian System defenses should prioritize anti-air and anti-Root Rider properties.
At TH11-TH14, the Electro Dragon buff is significant. If you haven't updated your base since 2025, now is the time. Spread buildings, use single-target Inferno Towers, and position Seeking Air Mines near the core.
At TH15-TH17, Root Rider + Druid becomes even stronger. Ensure you have Spring Traps in double Giant Bomb spots along the outer defense ring. Consider switching one Inferno Tower from multi to single if you're seeing more Root Rider attacks.
