Why Does This Base Design Work?

An Anti 3 Star island base for Town Hall 7 positions the Clan Castle and Town Hall centrally within a 3x3 core compartment. Nine distinct wall compartments create layered defenses. Three Air Defenses are strategically placed; one central, two flanking at 8-tile distances from the core. Two Wizard Towers defend southern approaches, adjacent to two Hidden Teslas, providing concentrated splash and single-target damage. The design counters Dragon attacks with widely spread air defenses and deters Hog Rider attacks through strategic trap placement and extensive compartmentalization.
