Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH5 Trophy design emphasizes multi-layered compartmentalization, featuring 12 distinct walled compartments. The Builder Hall occupies the central 3x3 compartment. Four point defenses—a Cannon, an Archer Tower, a Mortar, and a Double Cannon—protect the core from adjacent 3x3 compartments. A Crusher strategically guards the south flank, covering a 3-tile wide approach. An Air Bomb unit provides aerial deterrence from the west. The design effectively counters mass Giant attacks and focused Cannon Cart pushes.
