Why Does This Base Design Work?

The TH5 Trophy base prioritizes comprehensive defense with a centrally enclosed Town Hall. Eleven distinct compartments segment the layout, impeding troop pathing. A Level 3 Air Defense is positioned one tile northeast of the central core, guarding against aerial threats. The Level 3 Wizard Tower, situated in the northeast sector, delivers crucial splash damage. Two Level 3 Mortars provide additional area-of-effect suppression. This design specifically counters Giant attacks through heavy compartmentalization and effectively defends against Cannon Cart pushes with its dense point defense network.
