Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH9 anti 3 star base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
A TH9 anti-3 star base design features a highly segmented core and over 20 distinct compartments. Four X-Bows protect the base, two covering the core and two defending the mid-layer, primarily set to ground. Four Air Defenses are widely distributed, providing comprehensive anti-air coverage. Four Wizard Towers offer critical splash damage in outer compartments. Strategic Giant Bomb placement within the compartments counters Hog Rider attacks. The extensive compartmentalization effectively fragments ground troop pathing against GoWiPe strategies.
💪 Strengths
- ✓Multiple Giant Bombs are strategically placed within the base's 20+ compartments, specifically targeting Hog Rider pathing and delivering significant burst damage.
- ✓Over 20 distinct compartments and numerous wall segments force ground troops like Golems and Pekkas to break through multiple layers, preventing concentrated pushes and enabling prolonged point defense engagement.
- ✓The Clan Castle, adjacent to the Town Hall in the central compartment, ensures defensive troops engage deep into the base, disrupting enemy attack plans and supporting core defenses.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗The numerous small compartments and potential lack of wide-area splash damage in some sections could allow Witches and Skeletons to overwhelm defenses during Witch Slap attacks.
- ✗If all four X-Bows are set to ground, the base's air defense capability relies solely on Air Defenses, Archer Towers, and Wizard Towers, potentially leaving it susceptible to advanced LavaLoon strategies.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
Baby Dragon (ranged splash damage against ground and air attacks), Wizards x2 (high single-target and splash DPS), Archers x2 (additional single-target DPS and cleanup).
