Why Does This Base Design Work?

The TH9 Anti 3 Star base features a highly compartmentalized core. The Town Hall and Clan Castle occupy the central 4x4 compartment, ensuring deep protection. Four X-Bows are strategically distributed in surrounding compartments, two covering ground, two covering air and ground. Four Air Defenses are separated into distinct compartments, positioned 2 tiles from the outer walls for broad aerial coverage. Four Wizard Towers provide critical splash damage in mid-outer sections. This design specifically counters Hog Rider attacks through extensive walling and Witch Slap strategies with dense point defense. Approximately 18 distinct compartments deter easy troop pathing.
