Why Does This Base Design Work?

This symmetric Town Hall 8 Anti 3 Star base features a heavily compartmentalized core design. The Town Hall is centrally located, surrounded by a tight ring of key defenses including Air Defenses and a Bomb Tower, creating a high-damage zone. A secondary ring of compartments houses Gold and Elixir Storages acting as high-hitpoint buffers, protecting Mortars and Wizard Towers positioned to deal splash damage to encroaching troops. The outermost layer consists of individual compartments for Cannons and Archer Towers, providing wide coverage and forcing attackers to break through multiple walls. The base employs an anti-air strategy by centralizing Air Defenses, making them difficult to reach early in a raid. The compartmentalization also serves as an anti-ground measure, slowing down troops like P.E.K.K.A.s and Golems. Spring Traps and Giant Bombs are strategically placed within the compartments to thin out ground assaults. This multi-layered defense makes it challenging for attackers to secure a 3-star victory.
