Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH7 fun & troll base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
This TH7 fun base presents a symmetrical, highly compartmentalized design. The layout contains over 12 distinct walled sections that segregate defensive structures. Three Air Defenses establish a wide triangular formation, protecting large portions of the village from air attacks. The central core protects the Town Hall and two Mortars, providing excellent splash damage coverage against ground swarms. This heavy compartmentalization effectively defends against Giant-Healer strategies by breaking up troop pathing. The distributed Air Defense placement offers a strong counter to mass Dragon attacks, increasing their travel time under fire.
💪 Strengths
- ✓Three Air Defenses are positioned in a wide triangle, maximizing air coverage and forcing dragons to travel across the entire base to reach the final air-targeting defense.
- ✓Giant-Healer attacks are thwarted by the numerous compartments, which guide Giants into narrow channels containing strategically placed Spring Traps.
- ✓The placement of high-hitpoint Gold and Elixir Storages acts as a shield for the Air Defenses, absorbing significant damage from Dragons and prolonging the life of the key defenses.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A mass Dragon attack using three Lightning Spells can neutralize one Air Defense, creating a weakened flank for Dragons and Balloons to exploit.
- ✗The Clan Castle is positioned near the edge of the base, making it extremely easy for an attacker to lure and eliminate the defensive troops with one or two archers.
