Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH6 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This Town Hall 6 war base utilizes a symmetrical design with seven compartments to slow ground armies. Two Air Defenses are placed in diagonal compartments, maximizing their separation. The Clan Castle occupies a southern compartment, protected by two Wizard Towers that provide excellent splash coverage against southern attacks. This strategic positioning creates a strong defense against Giant-Healer strategies and mass Balloon attacks. The central Town Hall compartment is heavily guarded by point defenses and a Mortar, making a direct assault difficult for inexperienced attackers.

💪 Strengths

✓Two Air Defenses are placed 19 tiles apart in diagonally opposite compartments, forcing air attacks like Giant-Healer to traverse the entire base to destroy both.
✓The base defends against mass Giant attacks through clever funneling into spring traps and pathways covered by two Mortars and two Wizard Towers.
✓A centralized Town Hall compartment, flanked by Archer Towers and Cannons, increases the difficulty of securing an easy two-star victory.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A mass Dragon attack from the north can easily overwhelm the single Air Defense in the top quadrant, as the Air Sweeper offers no resistance from that angle.
✗The Clan Castle is easily lured from the southern corner with a single Giant, allowing an attacker to deal with the defensive troops before launching their main assault.

Max-level Balloons (4) fill the 20-space Clan Castle. Their high damage and death splash are devastating against ground-based armies like mass Giants, which are common at TH6.
