Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH6 hybrid base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A centralized core protects two Air Defenses, one Wizard Tower, and a Mortar. This TH6 hybrid layout uses seven compartments to segregate key buildings. The Town Hall and Clan Castle anchor the central section, surrounded by essential splash and air defenses. Gold and Elixir storages are distributed between the core and secondary compartments to secure resources. The base design specifically counters mass Balloon attacks with its high-damage core. Giant-Healer compositions are also challenged by the strategic placement of point defenses and traps.

💪 Strengths

✓Two Air Defenses in the central compartment create a concentrated anti-air kill zone, effectively neutralizing mass Balloon strategies.
✓Strategic funneling with external buildings guides ground troops like Giants into pathways containing Spring Traps, reducing the attacking army's size.
✓Splash damage defenses are triangulated, with the core Wizard Tower and Mortar covering each other and the outer Wizard Tower protecting a flank.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A well-planned Giant-Healer attack from the 6 o'clock position can destroy the Air Sweeper and an Archer Tower, creating a clear path to the core.
✗The Air Sweeper exclusively covers the southern approach, leaving the northern side completely exposed to air attacks starting from 12 o'clock.
