Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH5 anti 2 star base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

A centralized core protects all key splash and air defenses. The layout utilizes six compartments to slow ground troops. The core compartment contains the Town Hall 5, Clan Castle, Mortar, and Wizard Tower. The single Air Defense is also heavily protected within the central walls. Two Elixir Storages with high hitpoints shield the primary defenses from initial attacks. This defensive structure effectively counters Giant-Healer strategies and mass Barbarian-Archer spam by funneling troops into overlapping splash damage zones. The base design prioritizes trophy protection by making a two-star victory difficult for opponents.

💪 Strengths

✓The central compartment houses the Mortar, Wizard Tower, and Air Defense, creating a powerful defensive core that is difficult for attackers to breach early.
✓Mass Giant attacks are countered by the base's compartmentalization, which forces Giants to break through multiple walls while under constant fire from the core's concentrated splash and point defenses.
