Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH14 Trophy base employs a symmetrical diamond design, featuring over 18 distinct compartments. The Town Hall occupies the central compartment. The Monolith defends the west approach to the core. The Eagle Artillery protects the northern core. Two Scattershots provide crucial splash damage from the second layer. Multiple X-Bows target both ground and air units. Four Inferno Towers are strategically placed for widespread coverage. Four Air Defenses are well-spread for anti-air capabilities. The Clan Castle is located south-west of the Town Hall. This layout actively defends against Root Rider spam and Queen Charge Hybrid attacks.
