Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH14 anti 3-star base features an asymmetric design, employing over 20 distinct compartments for robust defense. The Town Hall, offset in the upper-middle, is guarded by a Monolith and two ground/air X-Bows. The central Eagle Artillery anchors the core, surrounded by two multi-target Inferno Towers and two Scattershots. Four Air Sweepers are strategically positioned to disrupt air attacks. This layout effectively counters Root Rider spam with its segmented pathways and high splash damage density. It also defends against E-Drag spam through widespread Air Defenses and multi-target Infernos, preventing chain attacks.
