Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH10 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
This symmetrical Town Hall 10 war base utilizes a heavily compartmentalized design with 18 distinct sections. A central compartment houses the Clan Castle, Town Hall, and two ground/air X-Bows. Two multi-target Inferno Towers anchor the core, providing extensive splash coverage against mass troop armies. Four surrounding Air Defenses create a difficult path for air attacks. The layout's structure and multi-inferno setup are designed to defend against Witch Slap and GoBoWi strategies by separating skeletons and overwhelming ground forces with sustained splash damage.
💪 Strengths
- ✓The centralized Clan Castle has a wide radius, making it extremely difficult to lure before committing troops. The core's two multi-target Inferno Towers and two X-Bows create a formidable kill zone for any army that breaks into the center.
- ✓Witch Slap attacks are heavily countered by this layout. The numerous compartments force skeletons to break from the main army, where they are quickly eliminated by five well-placed Wizard Towers and the two multi-target Inferno Towers.
- ✓Hog Rider pathing is disrupted by the segmented outer compartments and strategic placement of two Bomb Towers. Several internal 2x4 spaces suggest potential double Giant Bomb locations, posing a lethal threat to groups of Hogs.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A skillful Queen Charge LaLoon attacker can exploit the base. A Queen Charge from the 3 or 9 o'clock position can neutralize an Air Defense, an X-Bow, and lure the Clan Castle, creating a clear path for the Lava Hounds and Balloons.
- ✗The value in the core is susceptible to a well-executed kill squad using Bowlers (BoWi). A single Jump spell combined with a Rage and Freeze spell can give Bowlers access to both Inferno Towers and the Town Hall, gutting the base's primary defensive power.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, Archers. The Lava Hound acts as a high-HP tank to stall a Queen Charge or kill squad. The enraged Baby Dragon provides high splash damage, and the Archers offer ranged DPS to pick off attacking troops.
