Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH10 farming base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
This TH10 farming layout uses a symmetrical, heavily compartmentalized structure to protect resources. The base contains over 18 individual compartments, forcing ground troops through a maze of walls. Two multi-target Inferno Towers and three ground/air X-Bows guard the central core containing the Dark Elixir Storage. This design excels at defending against mass Hog Rider attacks and Barch farming strategies.
💪 Strengths
- ✓Two Multi-Target Inferno Towers provide excellent splash damage coverage over the core and adjacent storage compartments, effectively neutralizing swarms of low-health troops like Miners or Barbarians.
- ✓The layout's numerous small compartments, combined with strategically placed Spring Traps between defenses, significantly disrupt Hog Rider and Valkyrie pathing, preventing them from overwhelming the core.
- ✓Centralized Clan Castle placement makes luring defensive troops difficult without a significant troop investment, forcing attackers to confront a full CC during the main assault.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A well-executed Queen Charge originating from the 3 or 9 o'clock positions can establish a funnel, destroy an Air Defense, and lure Clan Castle troops with relative ease.
- ✗The proximity of some Air Defenses to other key defenses, like the X-Bow at 3 o'clock, creates a vulnerability to ZapQuake strategies, which can create a clear path for a LavaLoon attack.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
A Lava Hound and Balloons are recommended. The Lava Hound acts as a high-HP tank against air attacks, stalling Queen Charges. Balloons provide splash damage upon death, and leftover space can be filled with Archers for ground and air DPS.
