Why Does This Base Design Work?
This TH10 anti air base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
A symmetrical design defines this Town Hall 10 layout, spreading defenses evenly across the map. The base contains approximately 14 compartments to slow ground troop progression. Two multi-target Inferno Towers protect the core, flanking the central Clan Castle. Four Air Defenses form a wide perimeter, maximizing coverage against aerial assaults. This structure effectively counters Electro Dragon spam and classic Lavaloon attacks by creating a high-damage core and difficult funneling paths. Wizard Towers and Air Sweepers provide supplemental splash and pushback against clustered air troops.
💪 Strengths
- ✓Centralized multi-target Inferno Towers create a lethal core against high-HP troops like Electro Dragons and Balloons. The Air Defenses are positioned in separate compartments, forcing attackers to commit multiple resources to neutralize them.
- ✓The layout counters Queen Walks by using high-hitpoint storages as shields for key defenses. Deeply set Air Defenses and X-Bows, set to air and ground, make it costly for a Queen to create a funnel without taking significant damage.
- ✓Strategic trap placement enhances the anti-air design. Seeking Air Mines are placed near Air Defenses to target Lava Hounds, while black Air Bombs are clustered near Wizard Towers to obliterate groups of Balloons.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A GoBoWitch (Golems, Bowlers, Witches) or a Witch Slap attack can exploit the base's focus on air defense. The numerous compartments are less effective against the swarms of Skeletons spawned by Witches, which can overwhelm peripheral point defenses.
- ✗The symmetrical design makes the base predictable. An attacker who successfully identifies trap locations in one quadrant can accurately predict the trap layout in the opposite quadrant, enabling a more effective Hog Rider or Miner attack.
🏰 Recommended CC Troops
Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, Archers. The Lava Hound acts as a high-HP air tank to stall enemy troops, especially E-Drags. The Baby Dragon provides splash damage when not near other air units, and Archers offer high DPS to finish off weakened attackers.
