Why Does This Base Design Work?

This TH10 anti 2 star base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.

This TH10 layout utilizes a central island core to protect the Town Hall and Clan Castle. The base contains approximately 17 compartments, creating difficult troop pathing. Two multi-target Inferno Towers and two X-Bows defend the core region. Four widespread Air Defenses form a perimeter to deter air assaults. The design's structure effectively counters GoHo (Golems and Hogs) and LavaLoon strategies. A significant dead zone channel surrounds the core, separating ground troops from the most valuable defensive buildings, solidifying its Anti-2 Star purpose.

💪 Strengths

✓The centralized island compartment contains the Town Hall, Clan Castle, and two X-Bows, making a primary kill squad push extremely difficult to execute.
✓LavaLoon attacks are heavily discouraged by four well-spaced Air Defenses and two multi-target Inferno Towers that inflict massive splash damage on clustered Balloons.
✓Hog Rider pathing is disrupted by the numerous compartments and neutralized by two double Giant Bomb sets placed in the southern section of the base.

⚠️ Weaknesses

✗A precisely executed Queen Charge from 3 or 9 o'clock could remove an Inferno Tower and an Air Defense, creating a vulnerability for a follow-up hybrid or LaLoon attack.
✗Both Air Sweepers point south, leaving the entire northern approach undefended against air pressure, making a Mass Dragon attack from 12 o'clock a viable option.

🏰 Recommended CC Troops

A Lava Hound and a Balloon are the recommended Clan Castle troops. The Lava Hound effectively stalls the enemy Archer Queen and air attacks, while the trailing Balloon and resulting Lava Pups inflict significant damage on attacking forces.
