Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Builder Hall 9 war base features a unique, compact diamond layout designed to funnel troops into a central kill zone. The base is segmented into eight distinct compartments to slow down ground troop progression. Its core houses the Builder Hall, Multi Mortar, and Roaster, creating a high-damage area. Other significant defenses include the top-placed Giant Cannon, the Lava Launcher, and multiple Archer Towers protecting the flanks. The compact design is a double-edged sword, making it vulnerable to a powerful Pekka Smash attack through the middle. Additionally, surgical air attacks using Baby Dragons can effectively clear perimeter buildings and defenses.
