Why Does This Base Design Work?

This BH9 war base utilizes a unique, compact diamond layout designed for anti-2-star defense. The base is segmented into approximately eight compartments to create specific troop funnels. Key defensive structures include the centrally-protected Multi Mortar, a corner Roaster, and the long-range Lava Launcher. This tight configuration is vulnerable to Pekka Hog Glider attacks, allowing hogs to jump into the core. A well-executed Mass Minion Drop can also exploit the air defense positioning. The layout is effective at baiting ground armies into the Crusher and Mega Tesla kill zones.
