Why Does This Base Design Work?

This Town Hall 8 Anti 3 Star base features over fifteen distinct compartments. A centralized Town Hall occupies a 3x3 tiled core compartment, protected by surrounding defenses. Four Air Defenses are strategically spread in separate compartments across the base's perimeter. Three Wizard Towers provide critical splash damage coverage across inner defensive layers. Two Bomb Towers further bolster ground splash defense within distinct compartments. The Clan Castle is centrally located, making lure attempts difficult. The base effectively counters Hog Rider attacks through segmentation and defends against Dragon spam with robust air defense placement.
