Why Does This Base Design Work?

A compact TH7 War base features five distinct compartments. The Town Hall and Clan Castle occupy the central compartment, protected by one Air Defense, one Wizard Tower, and one Mortar. Four perimeter compartments house the remaining defenses, including the second Air Defense, second Wizard Tower, and all four Cannons and four Archer Towers. Two Giant Bombs are strategically placed near the core, enhancing ground defense. This compartmentalization and centralized splash damage effectively counter Mass Dragon attacks and Giant-Healer strategies, preventing easy access to the core. Point defense density around the perimeter creates challenging funneling paths for attackers.
