Why Does This Base Design Work?

A segmented core with vital splash and single-target defenses protects the Builder Hall, deterring direct assaults. Five distinct compartments segment the defensive area. The Level 6 Builder Hall resides centrally, protected by a Crusher positioned adjacent to its north face. A Multi Mortar provides wide-area splash damage from an inner compartment, covering the east approach. Archer Towers offer versatile air and ground coverage from corner positions, preventing perimeter attacks. Double Cannons deliver concentrated damage against single targets, bolstering point defense. The design effectively defends against Boxer Giant/Cannon Cart pushes and Night Witch spam by creating circuitous paths and overlapping defensive fire.
