Why Does This Base Design Work?

A compact Builder Hall 4 anti-3 star design centralizes the Builder Hall. Three distinct compartments secure vital defenses. The Builder Hall anchors the core, with a Double Cannon positioned two tiles south and a Crusher three tiles west. Two Archer Towers provide flanking fire, one within the central compartment and another four tiles right of the core. Ground pushes like Giant and Barbarian attacks face significant point defense density and crucial splash damage from the Crusher. Archer spam is mitigated by the combined fire of all defenses.
