Why Does This Base Design Work?

This compact TH4 Anti 3 Star Builder Base features five distinct compartments. The Builder Hall occupies the central compartment, secured by a Crusher, a Guard Post, and a Double Cannon. A Multi Mortar provides splash damage coverage in the top left, while an Air Bombs unit protects the top right against aerial threats. A Hidden Tesla offers surprising point defense near the Builder Hall. Two Archer Towers further bolster air and ground defense on the flanks. This layout effectively counters mass Barbarian attacks and deters Baby Dragon spam with its distributed defenses.
