Why Does This Base Design Work?
This BH10 war base uses strong walls and smart defense placement to stop attacks. It works well against the most common armies at this level.
An asymmetric TH10 War base features a compact central core with 9 distinct compartments. The Eagle Artillery occupies a central compartment, 4 tiles from surrounding defenses, providing extensive range. Two Multi-Target Inferno Towers are centrally positioned, 2 tiles apart, offering overlapping splash damage. Four X-Bows are strategically distributed; two cover air and ground, two focus on ground threats. Four Air Defenses are arranged in a square, 5 tiles from each other, protecting the core from aerial assaults. This design effectively counters E-Drag spam by segmenting the base and punishing Hog Rider attacks with concentrated splash damage. The Clan Castle remains unlurable from the initial outer layers.
💪 Strengths
- ✓Two Multi-Target Inferno Towers are centrally placed, 2 tiles apart, providing overlapping splash damage against mass ground attacks like Hog Riders and Witch Slap. The Eagle Artillery occupies the core, covering 90% of the base.
- ✓The base utilizes 9 distinct compartments and staggered Air Defenses, 5 tiles apart, to break E-Drag chain value and protect key defenses from lightning spells. Two X-Bows set to air provide additional aerial deterrence.
- ✓The Clan Castle is centrally located, 3 tiles from the Eagle Artillery, making it extremely difficult to lure without committing significant troops into the core, thereby disrupting Queen Charge strategies.
⚠️ Weaknesses
- ✗A concentrated Bowler and Witch attack, launched from the top or bottom sides, could overwhelm the multi-target Infernos with tanking and continuous splash damage, especially if rage spells are used.
- ✗Two Giant Bombs are visibly placed at the 6 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions, 3 tiles from the outer wall, potentially allowing skilled attackers to pre-trigger them with a single Hog Rider or bypass them.
